• The MATADOR® metal ceiling system is both functional and decorative.
  • Their sturdy finish resists the most trying weather conditions as well as chemical vapours, making them useful both indoors and outdoors.
  • Light fittings, air conditioning and ventilation grilles as well as fire fighting systems can be installed into the MATADOR® ceilings.
  • The MATADOR ® 85/84 D consists of aluminium strips with a thickness of 0.5 mm. A height of 15mm and a width of 85 mm, provide a 100mm module ceiling when erected. Ten metres run of MATADOR® strips covers an area of one square metre.
  • The strips are stove enamelled polyster painted in the basic standard white colour. Special colours can also be supplied to RAL.
  • These ceilings can be supplied in both plain and perforated forms. Upon installation rockwool backing can be used to achieve a high coefficient of sound absorption.

  • In preparation for installation, the ceiling area is first measured and then divided up so that the carriers can be placed at distances not exceeding 1.5 m.
  • The positions of the wire hangers are marked on the structural soffit, taking care not to exceed a distance of 1.2 m between hangers along the carriers.
  • All carrier clips should be aligned with accuracy.
  • The height of the carriers adjacent to the wall should be corrected first, then the remainder can be levelled.
  • The adjustment clips are located into the slots through the tapered section of the carriers. Carrier Splices join the carriers together by screwing them at the joints.
  • Panels & joints are then clipped onto the carriers.
