• The MATADOR 8 ceiling systems are beautiful in their modern simplicity. They allow you to obtain a variety of designs and rich decorative effects though the use of the many finishes and colour shades available.
  • They are easy to maintain. The light weight strips are washable, repaintable and readily demountable making services and ducts accessible.
  • Their sturdy finish resists the most trying weather conditions as well as chemical vapors, making them useful both indoors and outdoors.
  • The acoustical qualities have been tested according to the acoustic chamber methods and the results show a high performance in sound absorption.
  • The MATADOR 10/100/150/200/300 consists of aluminium strips with a thickness of 0.5/0.5/0.5/0.6/0.7mm, respectively, a height of 15mm, and 20m recessed gap together with a width of 80mm/130mm/180mm/280mm, provide a 100mm/150mm/250mm/300mm module ceiling when erected.
  • The strips are stove enamelled polyster painted in the basic standard white colour. Special colours can also be supplied to RAL.
  • These ceilings can be supplied in both plain and perforated. The perforated type consists of 1.1mm/1.5mm/1.8mm perforation holes with a 0.2mm layer of non-flammable black textile bonded to the concealed surface of the perforated units using a non-water based glue allowing for wet cleaning.

The System

  • In preparation for installation, mark the required finished ceiling level on one of the area perimeter walls and fix the edge trim to it.

  • The position of the wire hangers are marked on the structured soffit and suspended from anchors, taking care not to exceed a distance of 1600mm between hangers along the carrier lengths.

  • The carriers are then hung to the wire hangers using adjustment clips to allow accurate ceiling level adjustment.

  • Carrier splices join the carriers by screws at the joints.

  • Panels are then slid into place by clipping them to the carriers.
